What Is Freeclaimers?
Freeclaimers is an innovative online service that allows users to give away items they no longer want... or to claim items listed by other users - all free of charge!
One of the key aims of Freeclaimers is to reduce the number of perfectly useful, but otherwise unwanted, items that end up in landfill sites every week. Freeclaimers aims to create a community that helps one another while also helping the environment and provides an easy way to keep your clutter under control.
How Do I Give Something Away?
Simply register, complete our simple listing form, and add an image if you wish. Your listing will appear immediately and will remain listed until it is claimed. Once another user claims the item, you will receive an email with their contact details so collection can be arranged. If you need to edit a listing, you can do so by logging into my account.
How Do I Claim Something?
You can browse listings by category using the Freeclaimers Categories on the left. Alternatively, if you have something specific in mind, you can search by category, keyword or location. Once you have found an item, simply click the claim button to claim it. You will receive an email with the collection details and contact details of the giver. The onus is then on you to arrange collection.
Are There Any Restrictions?
Yes. All items listed on the site must be appropriate for all ages and legal in all countries. We can not accept any perishable items or any living items, including pets. If you have a pet to rehome, please contact your local animal shelter.
